Join Resthaven in the newly created role of Residential Operations Coordinator, based at our modern head office in Wayville on the edge of the city. This permanent full-time position will see you draw on your excellent communication, coordination and planning skills to support strategic processes across our residential services. You will work closely with the Executive and Senior Residential Services Teams, Residential Operations Manager and other stakeholders, with travel to all residential sites as required.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and support Residential Support Officers across 12 sites, including onboarding and mentoring
  • Promote consistent implementation of quality systems across residential sites
  • Monitor compliance and continuous improvement processes aligned with aged care reforms and best practice
  • Provide administrative and strategic support to the Executive and Senior Management team
  • Oversee documentation and reporting related to audits, incidents, feedback, and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare and review policies and procedures to ensure alignment with legislation and sector standards
  • Contribute to projects that improve service delivery and support organisational priorities

 

Essential criteria

  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
  • Proven experience in IT systems administration, including experience with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Ability to use strong thinking and problem-solving skills to understand information, identify trends, and recommend strategies to assist with decision making
  • Strong technical skills in operating and database management.
  • A strong ability to write clear, well-structured reports that communicate key information and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.
