If you love balancing your clerical and administration talents with meeting new people, you will love an Administration Reliever role with Resthaven’s Community site teams. The position is offered as a 12 month Full-Time contract.

There’s more to aged care operations than you might think, and you’ll enjoy the buzz in learning new systems and processes, having variety in your role, while working alongside dedicated and supportive colleagues. You will enjoy variety in your role as you travel to Community Sites providing administrative support as required.

Your sensitivity in answering enquiries from clients and their relatives brings real personal satisfaction when you see the smile on their face or hear the gratitude in their voice.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provision of reception/switchboard duties to the public and clients of the facility including:
  • The provision of excellent customer service by greeting and assisting visitors and clients by handling inquiries and providing information promptly
  • Being the first point of contact for phone calls and clients as they arrive in Community Services
  • Responding to client queries regarding accounts
  • Provision of general clerical and administrative support including:
    • Maintaining office filing systems
    • Maintaining personnel files in line with Resthaven procedures & requirements
    • Processing and formatting documents and correspondence
  • Providing clerical support function to the Community Services Team
  • Ordering reception supplies, stationery and equipment required by Community Services
  • Maintenance of computerised records and data relating to clients and staff
  • Data entry and production of required corporate, program and government reports

Essential Criteria:

  • In-depth knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Empathy with older people
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to adapt to change
  • Multi-tasking aptitude
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Current Drivers' Licence
