Resthaven Westbourne Park Residential Services is currently seeking an Assistant Cook to join their team.

Resthaven offers you regular, daytime working hours, giving you a healthy work life balance and job continuity. You will assist our residents by preparing nourishing meals in consultation with individual care plans and taking into consideration special dietary needs.

Exercise your culinary prowess using quality fresh ingredients to create appealing menus for residents, with colour and texture appropriate for a diverse clientele. You will get to know your diners and their preferences, and take pride in contributing to their enjoyment of everyday life.

Essential Criteria

• Minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification
• Experience in food handling and preparation services.
• Experience in Aged Care or a similar field, with a proven ability to lead a team and manage a kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety legislation, IDDSI and allergens
• Possess a passionate, creative, and a can do attitude
• Available to work permanent part time - 6:30am to 2:30pm
