Established in 1935, Resthaven is one of a select few aged care providers in Australia to offer the full spectrum of care, from community support through to residential services. About the Role
You'll work at the centre of Resthaven's leadership, providing trusted governance support to the Board and high-level executive support to the CEO.
This is a varied and influential role, overseeing the Board and committee meeting cycle, including the preparation of papers, agendas, minutes, actions and governance records. You'll also support Resthaven's governance and compliance framework, monitor relevant legislative developments and provide timely briefings to the CEO, Board and Executive Management Team.
Alongside your governance responsibilities, you'll provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO, managing a complex calendar, correspondence, travel, meeting preparation and key stakeholder relationships. You'll liaise regularly with Board members, government departments and external stakeholders, requiring sound judgement, discretion and a highly professional approach.
This role will suit someone who is equally comfortable working within formal governance processes and the demands of a busy executive office, and who takes pride in being organised, responsive and trusted.
Please note that attendance at Board and committee meetings is required, and some of these are scheduled outside standard business hours.
