Resthaven Malvern Residential Services are seeking a Coordinator of Hospitality Services for a Full-time role. About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Residential Services Manager, you are responsible for ensuring a quality hospitality service is provided to residents by developing and monitoring work practice standards that focus on quality outcomes and continuous improvement including:

• Ensuring the provision of quality hospitality service meals to residents, maintaining compliance with food safety standards
• Participating in the development of your sites budget requests and monitoring expenditure, with effective and efficient use of resource
• Coordinating provision of cleaning services and maintenance in accordance with required standard
• Coordination of housekeeping staff and duties
• Ensuring current knowledge of legislation, work practice and contemporary hospitality practices

About you:

• Chef with experience in the coordination of hospitality services
• Proven ability to coordinate and lead a range of staff
• Knowledge and experience with food safety legislation
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and to be flexible to satisfy competing demands
• Experience in stock control and in ordering stock
• Previous experience in managing housekeeping services in the aged care sector or hospitality industry is preferred (but not essential)
