Resthaven Murray Bridge Residential Services are seeking a Care Coordinator (Clinical Manager)  for a Full-time role.

A little more about the role:

  • Based in the regional location of Murray Bridge
  • Working collaboratively with the Senior Manager Clinical Services and the Residential Services Managers at our Murray Bridge site to provide quality clinical care and services to all residents.
  • Working in consultation with residents and their families in the planning, delivery and evaluation of the clinical care provided.
  • Delivering professional standards of contemporary best practice nursing and care services at your allocated residential aged care home
  • Ensuring effective and collaborative working arrangements with visiting medical practitioners and other allied health professionals
  • The supervision of nursing staff and personal care assistants

Essential Criteria:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and a minimum of 5 years’ nursing experience in Australia
  • Previous supervisory experience, with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to motivate and mentor staff to achieve organisational goals
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to logically prioritise varying work demands
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents — must be a people person with excellent communication skills
  • A thorough understanding of the ageing process and a commitment to caring for older people, including the complexities of aging individuals
  • A good understanding of clinical governance and its application in aged care settings
  • A sound understanding of current aged care practices, standards, and reforms in Australia
