Key responsibilities include

  • Lead and develop the finance business partnering team to deliver high quality analysis, reporting and strategic advice driving performance.
  • Strategic business partnering with managers across the organisation to provide financial guidance, optimise workforce management, resource allocation, and cost management.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes for Resthaven’s service portfolio.
  • Maintain strong knowledge and understanding of aged care compliance requirements.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification (required).
  • 7–10 years of progressive finance experience, including 3+ years in a business partnering leadership role.
  • Experience in the not-for-profit or aged care sector
  • Strong understanding of complex funding frameworks (e.g. AN-ACC, CHSP, SAH) and associated compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with non-financial stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Advanced financial and analytical skills, including modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing abilities.
  • Sound understanding of financial management systems and reporting tools (e.g., Epicor, Alaya care, Power BI).
  • Strategic thinker with operational awareness and a hands-on approach.
  • Values-driven leader who demonstrates integrity, empathy, and commitment to service excellence.
