Resthaven is seeking experienced Home Support Workers to join our Community Services team, providing late-night and active overnight support across our cottages in Adelaide's Southern & Inner-Southern Suburbs - Aldinga, Westbourne Park & Toorak Gardens.

This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working independently, is confident providing support overnight and has reliable availability for our required shifts.

As a Resthaven Home Support Worker, you’ll make a genuine difference to older people by providing respectful, person-centred support that enables them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

About the role:

Our overnight Home Support Workers provide support across our three overnight cottages, assisting clients with their individual care and support needs.

These positions are specifically being recruited for late-night and active overnight shifts, with active overnight shifts predominantly worked 10:30pm–7:30am.

To meet our current rostering needs, you will need to be available for:

• Every Wednesday and Thursday night
• Fortnightly Monday, Saturday and Sunday nights
• Late-night shifts commencing from 5:00pm, as required
• Work across Aldinga, Westbourne Park and Toorak Gardens

What you'll bring:

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or equivalent – essential
• Availability to meet the overnight roster requirements above
• Willingness and ability to work across all three cottage locations
• Confidence working independently during active overnight shifts
• A genuine commitment to supporting older people with dignity, choice and respect
• Reliable transport and a current driver's licence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
