We are a not-for-profit organisation providing essential in-home support services to elderly clients across the South Australian region. Currently, we are looking for Permanent Part Time (20 hours per fortnight) Home Support Workers to service our clients needing to take respite across our southern community.  

About the Role

As a Home Support Worker, your primary focus will be supporting our clients with assistance with everyday tasks. Tasks include:

• General house cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping)
• Laundry and linen changes
• Reporting any concerns regarding client well-being
• Personal Care
• Transportation of clients to Medical appointments, social outings and daily activities.

What You’ll Need:

• Availability to work overnight shifts
• You have an empathetic nature and are committed to supporting the needs of older people
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
• Certificate III in Individual Care -Aged, or related (essential)
