Responsibilities will include:
- Provide comprehensive recovery and return to work services, including the development of tailored return to work plans, for injured workers.
- Facilitate, support and monitor return to work for injured workers.
- Liaise with treating practitioners, internal stakeholders and Resthaven’s claims management partner on all matters relating to return to work
- Maintain accurate file documentation to support compliance with legislation and self-insurance requirements
- Actively participate in the implementation of health and well-being programs
- Coordinate our Early Intervention Program
- Providing expert advice and support to line managers and executives on Return-to-Work SA requirements and related legislation
- Preparing return to work reports and other programs/initiatives
Essential requirements
- Accredited Return to Work Coordinator.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in WHS or similar field that would support a high standard of service delivery to injured workers.
- Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of the Return-to-Work Act 2014.
- Proven experience in a similar role in a self-insured environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Demonstrated integrity and impartiality in all dealings to ensure appropriate and consistent case management.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with workers and key stakeholders at all levels within the organisation and other professionals.
- Demonstrate advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated skills in negotiation.
- Ability to plan, set goals and to monitor the achievement of goals.
- Demonstrated ability to implement wellbeing initiatives.
- Current drivers’ licence to enable travel to all Resthaven facilities.
