Resthaven are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our team in a full-time capacity. If you are looking for a long-term rewarding career opportunity, then this is the role for you! 

As Trade Maintenance Officer, you will be required to; 

• Provide a maintenance service at Resthaven The Oaks and Resthaven Leisure Court Retirement Living.
• Conducting general maintenance of plant, buildings, grounds and equipment as per our maintenance schedule
• Documentation and reporting of faults, repairs and maintenance
• Assisting contractors working on site including inspection of work upon completion to ensure it is satisfactorily completed in a safe and tidy manner
• General maintenance of resident's equipment, as required
• Assisting/logging Retirement Living maintenance requests 

Your experience will include:

• Previous experience as a maintenance person
• Experience operating and using tools and equipment
• Knowledge of general maintenance practices
• Able to demonstrate understanding and communicate effectively with older people
• Prioritising of workload - you are able to demonstrate flexibility and achieve outcomes within specified time frames
• Current drivers licence
