Working across Onkaparinga, you'll provide person-centred occupational therapy services to older people, helping them maintain their independence, improve their wellbeing and work towards their individual goals.

This is an opportunity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, building meaningful relationships with clients while delivering contemporary, evidence-based occupational therapy within the community.

  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, health professionals and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Liaise with Therapy Assistants to coordinate individual and group therapy programs.
  • Contribute to the supervision of Occupational Therapy students and the delivery of education programs.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy that promotes positive outcomes for older people.

  • Demonstrated professional experience and clinical skills in occupational therapy.
  • An understanding of ageing and the needs of older people, their families and carers.

Experience working with older clients in a multidisciplinary environment, measuring client outcomes or coordinating therapy services is desirable.
