The Allied Health team at Port Elliot Residential Services are seeking an engaged and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join the Resthaven family.

A little about the role:

  • Working on a Permanent part-time basis, 2 days a week 09:00am to 5:00pm
  • Assessing residents, planning and evaluating programs or treatments by:
  • Assessing residents with a wide range of acute and chronic disorders and implementing appropriate therapy assessing, care planning, documenting programs or treatments in line with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission standards
  • Prescribing a delivery of complex pain management involving therapeutic massage and/or technical equipment specifically designed for pain management
  • Ensuring the functional and physical assessments for residents support the resident's assessed level of need to optimise eligible government funding
  • Participating in continuing education and courses updating Physiotherapy techniques and information

Essential Criteria

  • Current AHPRA registration
  • You have at least 6 months experience working in the role of Physiotherapist
