The Senior Manager Clinical Services at Resthaven will see you join and lead a team of amazing specialist clinicians that provide best practice and innovative care to the older people who live with or are supported by Resthaven.

Join our clinical services team in the role as Senior Manager Clinical Services!  Reporting to the Executive Manager Clinical Governance and Operational Excellence, this is a senior role with significant strategic and operational responsibilities, including ensuring Resthaven provides best practice clinical care, meets all required strengthened standards and that clinical standards and processes are aligned with our Clinical Governance framework and legislative requirements.  You will have the opportunity to identify and contribute to organisational clinical priorities, focussing on best practice, and also leading clinical education across both community and residential services.

Essential Criteria

  • Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency with a minimum of 5 years post registration clinical experience
  • Knowledge of legislation and aged care standards appropriate to the delivery of aged care services
  • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in contemporary nursing practice, with a focus on older people.
  • Knowledge and understanding of high-quality clinical documentation and communication relevant to aged care
  • A skilled people leader with strengths in coaching, development, building resilience and team alignment.
  • Advanced ability to analyse data, and use technology and software systems effectively
  • Advanced skills in incident analysis and report writing
  • Driver’s licence
