Join Resthaven In the position of Village Manager, Retirement Living in our Operations division. The role be based at our Leabrook Retirement Village. This is a permanent part time position, 30 hours per week. Your excellent customer service skills and communication coupled with your background in a similar role will be essential in ensuring the villages are run effectively and the residents enjoy their retirement in a valued and supported community environment. You must be willing to obtain a First Aid/CPR certificate.

You will be required to

  • Ensure effective management and daily running of the retirement village.
  • Oversee welcome and orientation experience of new residents in line with our policies and procedures.
  • Support and communicate to residents in a caring and professional manner.
  • Assist with the resident satisfaction survey.
  • Lead the team and encourage regular communication with team members.
  • Manage rosters.
  • Develop and manage community budgets in consultation with residents and work with the finance team.
  • Assist residents to connect to home care services.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience in Retirement, Hospitality, or Property Management.
  • Knowledge of budgeting principles and financial management.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and judgement, make well informed and timely decisions, and respond to changing demands and situations.
  • Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability and commitment to providing excellent customer services.
