Workforce Development Education Coordinator

Resthaven Incorporated | People & Culture | Head Office

For someone with some practical experience and a genuine interest in learning and development, Resthaven wants to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven, not-for-profit organisation where your organisational skills and enthusiasm for education will make a real impact from day one.

About Resthaven

Established in 1935, Resthaven is one of South Australia's most respected aged care providers, offering the full range of aged care services. As a financially independent, not-for-profit, we're driven by purpose, not profit. Here you'll find meaningful connections, genuine support for your growth, and the satisfaction of knowing your work matters.

About the Role

Joining our People & Culture team, you'll be the go-to person for learning and development enquiries across the organisation. You'll keep our training programs running smoothly, support staff to access development opportunities, and play a key role in delivering a great experience for every learner. This is a role where no two days look the same, and where your initiative and attention to detail will be noticed and valued.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be the first point of contact for all learning and development enquiries, responding professionally across multiple communication channels. Day to day, you'll coordinate session planning for our Workforce Development programs, including room bookings, catering, speaker scheduling, and participant management through our Learning Management System (LMS). You'll also support the smooth running of our Corporate Induction program, monitoring attendance, preparing materials, and assisting virtual participants on the day.

Maintaining and troubleshooting the LMS will be a key part of your role, along with providing general administration support to the team including invoice processing, meeting coordination, and preparing agendas and minutes. You'll work in close partnership with site managers to provide up-to-date reporting on mandatory training completion and help prepare data for both internal planning and external regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

You might be a recent graduate or someone who has completed a traineeship and is ready to step into a professional environment. Most importantly, you bring energy, organisation, and a genuine desire to help people.

Essential:

Experience with a Learning Management System (Totara or Moodle preferred), exceptional customer service, event or program coordination experience, strong time management and attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, solid problem-solving skills, the ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and strong computer skills.

Desirable:

Experience in aged care or another health organisation, and a background in an HR or learning and development environment.

Why Join Resthaven?

We're a team that genuinely supports each other and takes pride in the work we do. You'll be welcomed into a stable, respected organisation with room to grow, and you'll be making a difference to the people who care for some of South Australia's most vulnerable residents.

If you're ready to kick-start a meaningful career in learning and development, we'd love to hear from you.

Enquiries should be made to Kelli.Witt@resthaven.asn.au
