We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our finance team in community services, based at our modern head office location at Wayville. This is a permanent full-time opportunity!

Your background in reconciliations and general accounting services will be essential along with your ability to assist with statutory compliance requirements.  If this sounds like you then we would like to hear from you!

Responsibilities will include

  • Statutory reporting requirements
  • Management reporting/reconciliations
  • General accounting services including complete and post monthly standing journals to general ledger
  • Supporting and assisting with Medicare and Department of Veterans Affairs reconciliations

 

Essential requirements

  • Minimum of three years accounting experience
  • Experience with computerised accounting systems embracing debtors and general ledger
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs including an advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with complex reconciliations

 

It would be desirable to have accounting experienced in an aged care setting and/or experience using the Alayacare system.
