This full-time permanent career opportunity offers a generous salary package and is based at Resthaven’s Head Office in Wayville. It involves visiting residents and clients for assessment and monitoring Continence Management plans.  You may be required to travel to various Resthaven facilities and attend home visits with Community Services as the need arises.

Essential criteria:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Post registration qualifications in continence management or a willingness to pursue formal qualifications.
  • Knowledge of Gerontic Continence Practice issues
  • Knowledge of contemporary continence management practices
  • Demonstrated professional clinical nursing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of people.
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone and meet the demands of competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated use of initiative
  • Ability to work in a cooperative manner with Program Manager/s and other staff.
  • Commitment to providing quality care to residents / clients.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • A current relevant driver’s licence
