Essential Criteria: 

  • Ability to travel to all Resthaven Residential Aged Care homes (including Port Elliot, Murray Bridge and Mount Gambier). 
  • Have a warm, engaging, professional approach to meeting the needs of our clients.
  • A current driver’s licence and use of an appropriate reliable vehicle is essential to enable transport to all Resthaven Residential locations
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including:
      • Intermediate level Word including working knowledge of mail merge facility
    • Sound knowledge of Excel
    • Sound knowledge of Outlook
  • Demonstrated keyboard skills with a minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
  • Experience in the use of a multi-line switchboard and the provision of reception duties in an office environment, including management of petty cash
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to relate to a diverse group of people including residents and their families/ representatives, staff, contractors and volunteers
  • Ability to work in a confidential manner
  • Ability to manage time efficiently, organise and plan own workload effectively
