Join Resthaven as a Project Manager - ICT, in this twelve-month contract opportunity based at our modern head office in Wayville. We are seeking a collaborative and results-driven Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technology projects across our organisation.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, key stakeholders, and external vendors to drive effective project planning, risk management, and resource coordination. You will play a critical role in managing the impact of change on people, processes, and systems, helping to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as you will be responsible for developing clear communication plans, facilitating workshops, providing regular status updates, and aligning project outcomes with strategic business goals.

This role will be instrumental in enabling the future business growth of the organisation in an exciting time for aged care. Your experience and capabilities in this key role will help ensure you are contributing to improving the lives of older people at Resthaven!

Recent experience in delivery of complex HRMS/Payroll systems will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of ICT projects as defined in the business plan.
  • Establish and lead all key aspects of project governance.
  • Undertake project definition activities.
  • Manage project delivery including stakeholders and vendor management.
  • Undertake change management activities including reviewing business processes.

 

Essential requirements:

  • Knowledge of and experience in project management techniques including Prince2/PMBOK and Agile.
  • Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technical and business change projects including projects encompassing technology, and business process change.
  • Strong proven stakeholder engagement capability across a wide range of stakeholder groups including IT operations, business operations and corporate areas.
  • Sound communication skills.
  • Experience in facilitation and management procurement processes - in particular, successful technology vendor selection and management
  • An aptitude for analysis and development of solutions and initiatives that optimise outcomes for an organisation and its stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake end to end project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce professionally written reports and documentation.
  • Ability to work in a consultative manner, establish and sustain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced organisational skills and ability to manage a range of tasks over a number of activities to meet deadlines in a high demand work environment.
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and work productively as part of a team.
  • Actively support and effect change with a focus on business improvement.
  • Consumer focused business approach with the ability to understand and interpret stakeholder needs.
  • Proficient to an intermediate level in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of products especially Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Current drivers’ licence.
