Working directly with our Allied Health team as a Therapy Assistant, you will assist clients by accompanying clients on walks, preparing equipment as required and assist clients in readiness for their appointments with the Allied Health team. 

Our Resthaven Community site located at Woodville has a full-time permanent opportunity for a client-centred person to join our professional and friendly team. This position can also accommodate part-time hours.

Role Requirements:

• Prepare equipment required & perform regular stock control or checks of supplies.
• Report any damaged or faulty equipment, or hazards which may create a risk to clients or staff.
• Work effectively as an individual and in work groups to contribute to achievement of Resthaven’s objectives and communicating effectively within the workplace.
• Have an empathetic nature and are committed to supporting the needs of older people.
• Cert III in Allied Health Assistance (required).
