You will be asked to provide the contact details of two referees. Please contact your referees to confirm that they are willing to give you a reference. You can send them the Position Description so they can better comment on how your skills relate to the job you are applying for.
Well done, you are now ready to apply for your selected job! You will complete an online application form and upload your resume in either Word or PDF format. You won’t have to complete all the steps at once.
At any time during the application, you can save your progress to continue later. If you have a partially completed application, keep the closing date in mind. We will remind you via email three days before the closing date.
Once you have finalised and submitted your application, you will receive an email confirming your application was successfully submitted.
Once the vacancy has closed, the Recruitment Team will review your application.
If your application meets our selection criteria, the Recruitment Team will contact you to discuss your experience, interest in the role, your availability and answer any questions you may have.
If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to an interview. Depending on the role, this may be a panel interview or as part of an Assessment Centre.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your interview time, dress appropriately and just be yourself.
We often use behavioural-based interview questions to understand your capabilities, interests, experience and achievements. When answering these questions, think about past examples where you have experienced that situation, what you did and what was the result of your actions.
You are welcome to ask the interview panel some questions too.
Compliance checks are mandatory and will be undertaken for the shortlisted candidate as part of the selection process. We will notify you the outcome of these checks as soon as possible.
The Hiring Manager will contact you to verbally offer you the role and to confirm your start date and time.
A formal offer will then be made to you, and you will be asked to complete the onboarding process. The details that you previously submitted will automatically populate the onboarding forms to simplify the process.
You will attend a one-day induction at Resthaven Head Office soon after you start. Further training will be provided to you when you commence at your new work area.
Good luck!
